Owners Joe & Kristie Capozzoli serve up a "fresh" classic Italian food
experience, with that East Coast flair in San Diego's North County of
Oceanside. Located within the historical district of the Mission San
Luis Rey.
JOE CAPOZZOLIowner/operator AKA "Joey-bag-o-donuts" born and raised in southern California. Joe began his career in the restaurant business in 1983 opening the famous Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, and had quickly made a name for himself in the restaurant business creating a following of clientele in Orange County. Over the years he has worked in high end restaurants all over southern California from Los Angeles to San Diego.
Joe is a family man with a lovely wife, and five beautiful children, Marianna, Valentino, Anthony, Sebastiani, and Angelina. He has a strong sense of family, which he carries over into the restaurant. His goal is making sure the employees feel and know that they are all bringing their individual talents to make "Capozzoli's" a true Family Success. That anyone who steps foot through the doorway at "Capozzoli's" will feel the warm true Italian hospitality, and a part of the Famiglia!
KRISTIE CAPOZZOLIowner/operator AKA "La Bellla" native born New Jersey girl relocated to Los Angeles in 1991 to further her dancing career. Between dancing and choreographing films, commercials, and award shows, Kristie found herself among a true Italian family in Orange County, "The Capozzoli Family." Married to the youngest son Joe and starting a family, with dreams of one day owning their own restaurant. Kristie is her husbands #1 fan, and biggest supporter! Hoping to create a strong sense of family within the community, both Joe and Kristie wish that Capozzoli's becomes "A New Tradition" for you now, and generations to come. Capozzoli’s will be closed Monday, September 1st in observance of Labor Day, our Employees and their families. Enjoy the holiday weekend and we'll see you Tuesday for the Capozzoli Wine Dinner!
