The 2008  O'side Turkey Trot Art contest winner is Ashley Armstrong.

Ashley is a senior who attends El Camino High School with her twin sister, Michelle. Ashley loves to draw and write, and plans to major in fine arts in college. She is very involved in many community activities including: The president of the school's anime club (Japanese Animation), and a National Honors Society English Tutor. She loves to participate in activities that are fun and require the use of her imagination. Ashley will receive $400 for first place from the Turkey Trot.

Second place went to Ashley's sister, Michelle (top right drawing). Third place went to Greg Scagall, Oceanside (bottom right drawing).
